Heritage Day Poem
Proudly South African Heritage Day.
A Day for some like no other
but to me they say why even bother?
Nature and people all come together
Changing the future for us forever.
Black, White or a colour scale of Grey?
Promises of change to all each day.
The truth of history is there for all to see
We all need to come together, listen and agree.
Different culture, religion and race
all together making our home a safe place.
Proudly South African that's what i want to be
So come and enjoy a great heritage day with me!
